Meet the Team
Doc & Connie

Doc & Connie have been in crisis ministry for more than thirty years - twenty of that in full-time family and crisis ministry.

Dr. Spurlin has designed training and degree programs for a host of organizations, professional and academic.  He has designed and implemented prevention, intervention, and treatment programs for various recovery organizations.  He will provide technical and treatment consulting for W.A.R.P. 180, as well as all the practical training and professional staff development.

Connie Spurlin will be serving as our Program Administrator.

Leslie

Leslie Lobdell is our Nouthetic Counselor.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Bob Jones University.  She has experience counseling teens, teaching Sunday School, and tutoring refugees.  She has also been to mission fields in the Dominican Republic, China, and Ireland.  We are so blessed to have Leslie serving with us.

Nancy

Nancy Conyers is the newest member of our team.  She has come aboard to serve as the Residential Director for W.A.R.P. 180.

Nancy will be the one living with the ladies of W.A.R.P. 180.  She is uniquely qualified to work with these ladies due to her experience with family members in the drug scene.  She will serve as a mother figure, counselor, and friend to these women struggling to rebuild their lives.

Marie

Marie Priest is going to serve as one of our teachers.  She is the wife of a Baptist preacher, taught grade school for 38 years, and is a wonderful woman of God.
Kristi

Doc & Connie's daughter, Kristi Spurlin, will be serving as the Program Director for W.A.R.P. 180.  She is currently a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor I which is an entry level certification for use during training.  She is training to be a Certified Drug, Alcohol, & Addictions Counselor/ Registered Addictions Specialist.  This will certify her in Biblical and secular fields.

Kristi's first hand knowledge of addiction will be a great asset to this ministry.  When trying to escape the turmoil of an addiction, it helps to have someone there who knows exactly where you're coming from.

Dr. Henry

Dr. Bill Henry will be serving as W.A.R.P. 180's medical advisor.  He is an ER Dr. at White River Medical Center, and has agreed to help us set up medical care for our ladies.  Praise God for Dr. Henry's willingness to serve with us.
